Flounder season is closed... but that doesn’t mean they aren’t biting! In this video, I hit the Little Lagoon in Gulf Shores chasing speckled trout — and end up catching a pile of flounder that I wish I could keep. The bite started slow on the Salt Strong Slam Shady lure, but things really picked up when I switched to live shrimp later in the day. Between flounder, speckled trout, a surprise Spanish mackerel, and a couple redfish, it turned into one of those days you just can’t plan.
