New Catfish Rig Catches Big Fish

This YouTube Video is about Kayak Catfishing. It begins with trying to find bait. gizzard shad and threadfin shad. Kayak Catfish is only able to find threadfin shad but has some leftover gizzard shad from a previous trip. His plan of attach is to fish both upper and lower water column by dragging gizzard shad along the creek bottom while at the same time freeline a live threadfin behind the kayak.

The fishing action picks up when Kayak Catfish starts catching fish on both live bait and cut bait. The catches are small at first then they pick up as the day goes on, A Drum Fish takes the bait followed by the first Blue Catfish of the day.

Later Kayak Catfish’s time on the water pays off when he hooks into a much larger catfish. The fish puts up a strong fight. After an intense battle, the angler successfully brings in his biggest catch of the day, a sizable blue catfish that serves as the pinnacle of the trip.
