This video shows Ben Milliken fishing in Lake Okeechobee during a B.A.S.S tournament. Milliken received a 30-minute penalty box violation for the marshaller for not having his feet on the cockpit floor when starting the run. Milliken had the marshaller sit on the front deck to get on a plane faster due to being in one foot of water. It seems like there have been a lot of BASS violations this year. Despite the setbacks of fog delay and penalty delay, Milliken stuck to his plan of using a frog lure to get the larger Bass.
Later in the day, he tried to navigate through some extremely shallow water and with engine troubles it didn’t help the situation. He switched to flipping and using a swim jig and a chatter bait to get the bigger bite.
At one point he gets stuck in a canal for two hours. By the final weigh-in, his total catch isn’t enough to make a big leap in the standings, and he acknowledges the tough stretch he’s had in Florida tournaments. There’s always the next tournament Ben!
